It all started with
my Savta.
Majnuna inspired by my grandma, savta Tzvia. A strong woman full of pride, joy and light. As a kid, I used to mess things up a lot. Every time savta caught me she called me 'Majnuna' (crazy in Arabic). We always laughed about it.
My name is Hila and I'm a graphic designer, photographer, and performer based in Jaffa. I love combining these different art forms.
My work is influenced by my Yemenite roots, living in a mixed Arab/Jewish town, and my deep love for pop culture.
I grew up in a family full of strong women who taught me all about love and self-esteem. These values are at the core of my work.
I'm searching for ways to bring my vision to the world.
